Well I'm not exactly starting out with anything too exciting, but one thing I heard over and over again at CTNX was 'you can't push things until you know how they work first'. So...in order to better understand how to draw and move humanoids I decided to start with a detailed study on skeletal and muscle structure. Once this is more engraved into my brain then I can experiment more with caricatures.
My goal is a minimum of 30 minutes of drawing per day, and that goal is exactly the time I took on this first image.
'Torso'
Time taken: 30 minutes
Media used: Faber-Castell colored pencils
